Biography

Melissa has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1999 and has been with Illinois Bone & Joint Institute since 2003.

Melissa believes that being a part of a collaborative working environment where open communication between fellow therapists, physicians and physician’s staff provides her patients the most effective care leading to desired outcomes. Melissa specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses which include but are not limited to: sports-related, overuse/disuse, and post-surgical. Melissa integrates research based manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise programs for her patients to achieve optimal results for return to prior activity level and function.

Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys cheering on Chicago sports teams, spending time with family and friends, taking her dog on long walks and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
