Charlie Obiala has been practicing outpatient orthopedics since graduating from Nova Southeastern University’s Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy. Charlie is a native to the Chicagoland area and is originally from Glenview, Illinois.
Charlie incorporates an evidence-based approach to his patient care and enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. Charlie is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has a background in Exercise Science. Charlie utilizes his understanding of the human body and biomechanics in order to optimize his patients’ function.
Charlie has a passion for orthopedics and the musculoskeletal system. He is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which helps him identify and correct impairments in his patients’ movement patterns.
Charlie is an avid fitness enthusiast and loves sports, being outdoors, and experiencing new cultures and food.
