Biography

Oksana has been practicing as an occupational therapist since 2018 and she is currently working toward becoming a certified hand therapist. Her passion for hand therapy began when she shadowed a hand therapist at IBJI in 2016 while completing an internship at Health Performance Institute in Highland Park. Oksana completed her education at Carroll University with Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees. She then went on to live in Colorado for five years, working for a large orthopedic practice where she gained experience with a variety of traumatic and chronic upper extremity injuries.

Having grown up in Skokie, Oksana recently moved back to the Chicago area. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her friends, pets, and family. She also speaks both Russian and Ukrainian fluently.
