Biography

Shiori is a graduate of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at Rush University. Her passion for OT was sparked during her time as a physical therapist assistant, where she worked with young adults with disabilities in a transition program. Over the past couple of years, she has honed her expertise in an outpatient neurology setting, working with patients affected by stroke, brain injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, and other neurological conditions. These experiences deepened her belief in the importance of patient-centered care and the power of interdisciplinary collaboration through evidence-based practices. Hand and orthopedic therapy is her passion, and she is dedicated to continually expanding her skills to help patients regain strength, function, and quality of life.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, hiking with her husband, and spending time with dogs.
