Veena graduated in December of 2013 with her Masters in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University in Minnesota. Veena always had a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and neurorehabilitation. She decided to complete a specialty clinical in hand therapy after graduation and previously worked on an inpatient rehab team where she gained experience with a variety of patients.
Veena has a background in dancing, violin, and sports nutrition. She strives to provide patient centered care and hopes to improve the patient’s experience by creating personalized treatment plans. She enjoys working with all age groups and demographics. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and Chicago Metro Hand Study Group. Currently, Veena’s main interests include rehabilitation of the upper extremity from the shoulder to hand and custom orthosis fabrication. Veena received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Carroll University in Wisconsin.
