
Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is pleased to welcome Kathryn L. Fideler, MD, MPH, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Fideler is fellowship trained in adult reconstructive surgery and focuses on treating conditions affecting the hip and knee, including arthritis, joint degeneration, and complex joint disorders. She provides both surgical and non-surgical treatment options and has experience performing primary and revision hip and knee replacement procedures, including minimally invasive techniques designed to support faster recovery and improved mobility.
Dr. Fideler completed her fellowship training at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute, where she specialized in advanced hip and knee reconstruction. She previously completed her orthopedic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and also holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Dr. Fideler is committed to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy through personalized care and evidence-based treatment. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive joint replacement and advanced techniques designed to improve outcomes and recovery for patients with hip and knee conditions.
