Biography

Originally from Southern California, Rachel joined the IBJI team in 20216 and has a unique interest in Hand Therapy as a Physical Therapist. Rachel has worked in hands since she learned about hand splints and how to make them in 2019. She earned her Certified Hand Therapy Credential in November 2023, and she truly enjoys helping each patient hold their world in their hands again. She also has a passion for geriatrics and a background in Skilled Nursing Physical Therapy. Additionally, Rachel teaches the Hand Therapy curriculum for the CSULB Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and she teaches for the American Society of Hand Therapists Certified Hand Therapy Review Course.

When Rachel isn’t working, you can find her playing board games with her husband, performing in musical theatre, on a long run or bike ride, making ice cream, watching Academy Award winning Best Pictures, and visiting her twin sister.
