Biography
Sydney is an orthopedic physician assistant at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute's Park Ridge office. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Illinois State University and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University, graduating in 2025.
A former Division I collegiate volleyball plater, Sydney's personal experience with sports related injuries inspired her career in orthopedics. During her clinical training, she completed orthopedic-focused rotations in orthopedic surgery, regenerative sports medicine, and pediatric orthopedics. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is seeing patients improve their quality of life and functional abilities through conservative, minimally invasive or surgical treatment options. Sydney values team collaboration and building strong relationships with both colleagues and patients to provide excellent care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in Chicago with her friends and her dog, staying active, cooking, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, and occasionally getting back on the volleyball court.
