Biography
Dr. Christopher C. Mahr, board certified orthopedic surgeon, completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. As a board certified member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), he has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 2002. He further went on to Sportsmed SA Hospital in South Australia where he received fellowship training in Arthroplasty and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Mahr’s interests are Sports Medicine, General Orthopaedic Care, Arthroscopic Procedures (including Hip Arthroscopy), Total Joint Replacement, and Fracture care.
Dr. Mahr approaches all of his patients with compassion and professionalism. He finds it important to help his community by providing his expertise to young athletes. He is the team physician at Maine South High School and is also on the Medical Advisory Board for School District 64.
