Biography

Elyse is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic care of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She works closely with Dr. Jason Ghodasra to provide comprehensive, individualized care, assisting in surgery and treating patients in the office. Elyse also performs in-office injections for conditions such as arthritis, trigger finger, and carpal tunnel syndrome. 

A native of the south suburbs of Chicago, Elyse earned her Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020, where she was also a member of the James Scholar Honors Program. She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Chamberlain University in 2025. During her clinical rotations, she received additional training in orthopedic surgery and pain medicine. 

Elyse is passionate about building meaningful connections with her patients and takes pride in helping them feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. She is dedicated to helping each patient return to daily activities and improve their overall quality of life. 

Outside of work, Elyse enjoys spending time with family, traveling whenever she has the opportunity, and relaxing at home with her cat.
