Biography

Mary Naas, PA-C is a certified physician assistant in orthopedic spine surgery and trauma surgery with orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Jacob Babu. She is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota where she graduated high school from St. Paul Academy and Summit School. She attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota for her undergraduate degree in biological sciences. She subsequently gained experience as a clinical assistant with the Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis and as a nursing assistant with United Hospital in St. Paul on a rehabilitation unit. She graduated with her Master of Medical Sciences in physician assistant studies from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. 

Mary enjoys critically thinking about each patient and their orthopedic pathology. She is dedicated to comprehensively evaluating patient symptoms to provide quality, individualized care. Mary currently lives in the northern Chicago suburbs, and in her free time she enjoys running outside, biking, painting nature scenes, and playing piano.
