Dr. Alexander Gordon is a genius surgeon! I’m 60 years old now. I was playing soccer (lots of running and kicking) and later became a soccer referee while still working as an electrician in manufacturing. Both of my knees were in very bad shape with arthritis, bone to bone, and great pain for the past 4-5 years. Earlier this year I was walking, limping side to side with a hunchback. Finally, I said “enough” and decided to do something about it. In the beginning of July, Dr. Gordon replaced my left knee. He did an excellent job! I stayed in the NorthShore Skokie Hospital for three days. It was a great experience for me. They had a great nursing staff, therapists and food! I had good memories while watching the 2019 Women’s World Cup soccer matches from France with the U.S. team.
I’m back at work now. Not only do I feel great with no pain but also my whole posture has straightened. My left knee/leg is straight now it doesn’t cave inward like before surgery. I will be going back to Dr. Gordon to replace my right knee next year (I can’t wait) because it’s getting worse and worse. Dr. Gordon and his staff at IBJI – Sara and Chad – get my rating of FIVE STARS! Thank You!
